1. Sign up for the PTPH affiliate program here.
2. In the signup form, you will be asked for contact information and a PayPal account where the commissions can be paid to. You must have a PayPal account in order to receive payments for commissions earned. If you don't already a PayPal account, get one now at www.paypal.com. You will need to create a Premier or Business PayPal account in order to receive payments.
3. Refer customers through web links and by manual referal codes or coupons. After signing up as a PTPH affiliate, you will receive an email with a link and password for your affiliate toolbox, where you will get your affiliate ID number, manual referal code, web referal link code and banner images.
How To Refer Customers and Earn Affiliate Commissions
There are two main methods to refer customers and earn commissions.
Affiliate link code and banners are provided through your affiliate toolbox. Affiliate link code may be used in web pages and html email messages such as e-newsletters. When the link is followed, a tracking cookie is set in the customer's browser, which provides a method to track commissions when orders are placed from the same browser.
A manual referal code is provided through your affiliate toolbox. Refer customers to a landing page where they will enter your referal code, which sets an affiliate tracking cookie in the browser and enables tracking of affiliate commissions when orders are placed.
