Lotion Base - 8 oz.

The lotion base is a water based product and does not contain any preservatives. Essential oils work more efficiently and safe when they are mixed with a chemical free base.  Water base products have a short shelf life and will grow bacteria quickly. This product must be refrigerated to prevent spoiling. 

Ingredients
Purified Water and ORMEs drops- ORMEs (Orbitally Rearranged Monatomic Elements) are produced naturally in volcanic soils and plants grown in volcanic soil. Steric Acid- Our stearic acid is naturally derived from soybeans. Stearic acid helps to bind and thicken creams.

E-Wax- Vegetable based emulsifying wax is used to keep the oil and water from separating in your creams and lotions. It is supplied in white waxy pellets or flakes, and it has low odor. The emulsifying wax is made from vegetable source fatty alcohols however, this product is not considered "all natural." It combines the emollient, emulsifying, thickening properties of cetyl alcohol and stearyl alcohol. Emulsifying wax can form extremely stable w/o or o/w emulsions. Use at 5% - 10% in your "water in oil" or "oil in water" emulsions. Melt the wax with your other fats and waxes and then slowly add your water phase while continuously stirring. The key to forming a stable emulsion is to keep the formulation in motion until it cools completely.

Sunflower oil is high in essential fatty acids. It helps to moisturize, regenerate and condition the skin.  It is especially useful in formulations intended for mature, sensitive, dry or damaged skin.

Hazelnut oil is a light, penetrating oil that is slightly astringent. It is a suitable addition to formulations intended to be used on acne prone skin. Hazelnut oil is high in essential fatty acids and is soothing and healing to dry, irritated skin. It is commonly used in sun care products, and studies have shown that it can filter sunrays. Hazelnut oil is a nourishing addition to massage, hair care, cream, lotion and soap formulations.

Essential oils are hydrophobic, meaning they hate water.  When you apply an essential oil formula such as Cleanse Pure, Wrinkles, Pain, Virus, Protection, Weight +/- or Stress to the skin and cover it with a thin layer of lotion base the essential oils are chased into the bloodstream very quickly and their strength is intensified.  Once the tiny essential oil molecules are in the bloodstream and body fluids they are attracted to where they need to go to do the most good.  The lotion base holds the essential oils in place long enough so that the skin can absorb them into the bloodstream before they evaporate.  The lotion will nurture and protect the skin when using aggressive essential oils formulas often.
